About the Company:
Andy Thornton LTD has manufactured and sourced contract furniture for nearly 50 years. We are a leading manufacturer of high-quality metal structures and have extensive workshops and finishing facilities in our headquarters in Elland, West Yorkshire.
Formed in 1975 the original Andy Thornton vision was a one-stop-shop for pub interiors. We’ve since broadened our offering so we can supply the whole spectrum of hospitality spaces whatever the interior style.
About the Role:
We are looking for self-motivated individuals with a hunger to exceed targets, a team player that will enhance and grow the business alongside existing support teams.
The individual should have a passion for interiors and a background related to the hospitality industry. A proven track record of sales will be desirable. The main job functions will be to promote the Company’s total range of products and services for all divisions, achieve agreed sales targets for the area and increase the presence of Andy Thornton Ltd in London and the South East.
In addition to these functions, employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required by the Business Development Director or Sales and Marketing Director. They will be expected to visit both specifiers and end users to promote the company’s full range of products, maintain a personal plan of action for the development of the area and provide reports on sales visits, general marketing activity and direct competitor updates.
They will also be expected to develop close relationship with key related operators in the sector and to attend networking and supplier events, as well as quarterly meetings at head office for Sales and Marketing meetings.
