Having graduated in Business Studies and further language studies, Carmel had a varied career in diverse industries, including extruded aluminium, injection moulded plastics and modular sign systems before joining Panaz as Head of Healthcare in 2007 – a brief she relished due to her passion for the technical advances which enhance performance of specifically healthcare fabrics.  

In 2011 she was appointed Sales & Marketing Director with responsibility for both the Hospitality and Healthcare divisions and, more recently, Workspace.  She is evangelical in her belief that each sector brings specialist benefits to the others, whether by improved performance, heightened aesthetic appeal or wellbeing.

Carmel has been a member of the BCFA Council for 5 years, and became the inaugural Chair of the BCFA Northern Region 3 years ago.
