This year’s BCFA London Summer BBQ Networking took place for the first time at the spectacular Royal College of Physicians, a Grade I listed modernist architecture building with marble staircases and open plan rooms. The BCFA had exclusive access to the Lower Hall, the Plat Room, Osler and Long Room as well as the stunning medicinal garden, where the BBQ event was held. The venue was easily accessible for all as it was located right next to Regents Park.
With a great turnout of 200 members and their guests, it was no wonder that everyone spent most of the evening outside enjoying the amazing balmy July weather.
There was a relaxed mood and an excited buzz as everyone made themselves comfortable in calm outside space with plenty of areas to sit and relax, with views of the incredible building and surrounded by the unique collections of medicinal plants in the beautifully designed garden.
On arrival BCFA members and their guests cooled down with a refreshing drink and settled in to enjoy lively swing music from our house band ‘Bemsha Swing’ before the BBQ commenced.
The delicious food on offer in the BBQ went down a treat as and everyone was extremely satisfied. We received rave reviews about the quality and variety of food that was on offer!
