Ashley has a degree in Mathematical Physics from Sussex University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.  A recent addition to the furniture industry, Ashley has been Finance Director of Burgess Furniture for the past 3 years.  2019 sees Burgess Furniture celebrate their 60^th year and during that time they have built an enviable reputation as a reliable, innovative manufacture of furniture to the hospitality sector. Ashley has been a council member since September 2017.
