A Briefing for interested companies on the findings of a 5-day Creative Industries Scopingmission to Jeddah, Riyadh and Al-Khobar, which provided access to key government agencies, developers and industry players. BCFA are working closely with DIT to take a selected group on a further mission in early February 2020 to meet the main players in the most current projects in Jeddah and Riyadh.

Background: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is gearing up to deliver Vision 2030 and is investing significant sums in developing new world class destinations and cultural attractions. Ambitious developments for future living like Qiddiya ‘Entertainment City’ near Riyadh, the Red Sea Island development, and Jeddah Downtown are huge in scale and a positive indication of the KSA’s aspirations. Momentum is building on selected projects and design expertise, fit out, furniture and furnishings for hotels, hospitality, offices, leisure facilities, airports, education, healthcare will generate huge opportunities for UK companies who are equipped to deal with this market.
