The first ever Virtual Interiors Event took place online in February, attracting almost 4,000 industry professionals from 83 countries across the globe.
Amanda Salt, Global A&D Sales Director at Boss Design said the event “created a fresh insight and helped to generate much needed enthusiasm for the returning to the post Covid Workplace and the new normal”
The KI team called the event a “fantastic opportunity to connect with people across the industry, whilst joining a variety of really informative seminars”
As well as planning the next Virtual Interiors Event for February 2022, founders Beth Harrison and Sally Rice have already started work on new interim events. ‘VI:Insights’ will be taking place from 20th – 24th September as well as the 6th – 10th December and will consist of daily virtual thought leadership sessions including CPDs as well as presentation of research and white papers. Rice explained, “It was clear to us very early on that there was a real need for this kind of event, that’s not just streaming consumable content but encouraging connection and innovation in a digital format that is adapted to the new hybrid way of working that has emerged in the last year. .”
“The Virtual Interiors Event has made its mark and offers an opportunity for exhibitors to reach both larger and more international audiences that traditional in-person events are unable to provide.” Harrison agreed.
The new VI:Insights event will be an opportunity for firms to deliver their thought leadership content to a wider audience without travel and other costs associated with the more traditional ‘lunch and learn’ approach used in the industry.
