Ultrafabrics brings its Color Lab to life at Clerkenwell Design Week

Design Fields, Stand DF51

ULTRAFABRICS, the world’s leading producer of high-quality performance fabrics, will return to Clerkenwell Design Week exhibiting at one of its key venues, Design Fields (Stand DF51), between 23 – 25 May 2023.

This US-based textiles specialist is set to bring its Color Lab to life as part of Clerkenwell Design Week. Its most recent Colour of the Year collaboration with PANTONE (pictured above), which demonstrates how the smart use of colour can impact any interiors space, brings colour to life through custom palettes and refreshes of the Uf Select Montage and flagship Brisa collections. Visitors to the stand will be invited to interact with colour through an art gallery experience.

For almost 25 years, Ultrafabrics has set the standard on premium, high-performance materials by uniting craftsmanship, state-of-the-art technology, and sustainably focused innovation to create intelligent fabrics designed to do more. Its unique fabrics – crafted exclusively with the manufacturer’s hand-picked and trusted mill partners – offer incomparable comfort, superior performance and haptic quality that is unrivalled on the market.

Uf Select Montage

With a subtly distressed surface reminiscent of a collage, Montage has a rich, weathered texture. The impressive palette will expand by 26 colours including timely neutrals, warm red tones, nature-inspired shades, and an exclusive PANTONE Colour of the Year1-inspired hue, Vivid Punch; a shade that is designed to inspire and transform all interior spaces with strength, experimentation and uninhibited self-expression.

Launching in the UK at Clerkenwell Design Week, the 26 new hues of Montage not only complement Uf Select’s existing colour foundation but also look to what’s ahead in colour.

Brisa

Brisa is the world’s first breathable performance fabric engineered with Ultrafabrics’ proprietary ventilation system. Designed for high comfort and high functionality, Brisa is 1 Pantone 18-750 Viva Magenta suitable for all interior design projects, from upholstery to panelling, both vertical and horizontal.

Made for the senses, Brisa features a softly textured aesthetic and is available in a diverse range of shades, touching all corners of the colour wheel. The collection now includes recycled polyester and responsibly sourced rayon in the backcloth, incorporating 8.3 recycled plastic bottles per yard. This transition supports Ultrafabrics overall goal to include at least 50% recycled and/or renewable resources across its portfolio by 2030. At Clerkenwell Design Week, Ultrafabrics will introduce selected new colours to the current Brisa collection – more details to follow.

Nicole Meier, Director of Branding at Ultrafabrics, comments, “We’re delighted to be part of Clerkenwell Design Week again this May – one of the key design events in our global
calendar.”

“We could not be more excited to bring our latest partnership with PANTONE – along with our refreshed colour palettes – to this event. PANTONE trusted us to explore how its Colour of the Year works in the built environment – which is not only about envisioning our fabrics in spaces but also about a chorus of materials that reference the depth and breadth of how the Colour of the Year is used, combined with a design vision for the future.”

“We look forward to being at the festival again and showing the fruits of our labours to our customers.”

Ultrafabrics is at Stand DF51, Design Fields, Spa Fields, Northampton Road, London EC1R 0DF. Clerkenwell Design Week runs between 23 – 25 May 2023.
