After 18 months of virtual events, Zoom meetings and uncertainty, we were so excited to welcome our members and their guests back to our much anticipated BCFA London BBQ, held in the final week of August in the beautiful grounds of the Royal College of Physicians, Regents Park.
Despite the initial anxiety of venturing back out into the world of events and networking, it really felt like we had never left. The BCFA team went through all the necessary procedures to ensure the safety and comfort of our 180 members and guests, who were so pleased to be back for an evening of long-awaited laughs and catch ups.
We had a brilliant turnout with better than expected weather, allowing us to enjoy the evening in the stunning garden, swaying to some live music from Bemsha Swing which set the ideal atmosphere for the night.
The food was fantastic and fresh from the BBQ, with an enticing range of cuisine. From burgers to tofu Bao buns, there was plenty to go around to accompany the free bar.
It has been such a long time since we were able to come together for an event, and we were thrilled to have everyone back.
The BCFA are very much looking forward to our other events this year, with the upcoming Manchester BBQ on 1st September selling out. We hope to see you again throughout the year!
