Earlier this year, we brought together some of the most forward-thinking minds in commercial interiors to explore the opportunities and challenges posed by Artificial Intelligence (AI). Designers, suppliers, and industry experts gathered to exchange insights, discuss evolving processes, and navigate the integration of AI into the world of design. This half-day event proved to be a milestone in shaping industry perspectives, providing valuable Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points, and fostering invaluable networking connections. Now, nine months later, we are ready to delve deeper and broaden our conversation to explore other disruptors shaping the industry.
Our next forum event is set to take place on 12th December 2024 at Milliken’s Clerkenwell showroom. As we reconvene, we’ll be asking bold questions: Is AI the future of design? If not, what is? Our panel of esteemed speakers will reflect on the evolution of AI over the last nine months, sharing how they’ve integrated this tool into their work and addressing both the opportunities AI has created and the challenges it continues to present.
But this event won’t focus on AI alone. We will also explore other disruptors affecting the commercial interiors sector. Our speakers will delve into the environmental impact of AI, alongside the broader urgency for sustainability in design practices. As global attention increasingly focuses on sustainable solutions, our discussions will evaluate how commercial interiors can lead in balancing technological advancements with eco-conscious choices.
Additionally, we’ll examine key socio-economic changes that are redefining the design landscape. As cultures shift, work environments evolve, and economic challenges emerge, designers are compelled to rethink priorities and innovate in response to new realities.
