The Cruise Ship Interiors Expo Europe took place at London’s Excel over two days in early December. BCFA were delighted to be present at the show, supporting their members that took part – Franklite, hansgrohe, ILIV Contract Textiles, Roman, Sunbury Design, Ulster Carpets, Vescom, Waterbury Bathroom Accessories and Yarwood Leather.
With new travel restrictions brought in just before the show started, the visitor numbers were understandably down, but companies commented that the quality of those that attended more than made up for the quantity.
The Organisers, Elite Exhibitions, are to be congratulated for going the extra mile to aid both visitors to travel and attend, and to look after the exhibitors during the show. VIP networking sessions and excellent hospitality offerings to all were welcomed.
A well-organized Conference programme added to the show’s highlights, with top designers and cruise owners discussing the many and varied issues facing the industry both now and in the future.
We are also delighted to announce that BCFA member Agua Fabrics won the coveted award of “Supplier of the Year” at the Cruise Ship Interiors Awards ceremony. We will be featuring them in a special article to follow.
The Cruise Ship Interiors Expo 2022 will take place next year at London’s Excel from 30th November to 1st December.
